What is your mother’s obsession with plastering your achievements all over the fridge? I mean, so what if you got a B+ on your history report? Not everyone needs to see that, especially not that girl you like from Art Club. But I’d take the report cards and graded papers any day if that meant that the pictures would go away. You all know what I’m talking about. The baby pictures, class pictures, embarrassing candids…basically anything that you don’t want to see the light of day, it’s plastered up on the fridge. Maybe you’re thinking it’s not that big of a deal, I mean it’s not like the fridge is one of the most high traffic areas of the house, right? Oh wait, that’s exactly it. It’s time your took this matter into your own hands! It’s time you put your foot down! It’s time you…
…bought your mom the Digital Photo Frame Fridge Magnet (Perpetual Kid, $39.99)! Wait, what? I know, it sounds a little counter-intuitive to give someone a means to display photos when all you want to do is stop them from displaying photos, but hear me out. There’s no way your mom is going to agree to take all your pictures off the fridge. No way, no how. But she might agree to a technological upgrade, one that might display her prized photos in a more sophisticated manner. Then BAM, you’re in. Of course, she’s going to need you to install the software because she doesn’t have the time or patience to do it on her own, right? So you’ve got 32MB of space to fill, which is roughly 60 pictures, that will slideshow on the 2.4 inch display of your mom’s new photo frame. All you have to do now is load it up with pictures of your choosing – pretty much guaranteeing that your sister will be the new center of embarrassing photo attention while all your pictures will showcase your rugged good looks.
I know, it’s a little tempting to completely edit out any evidence of your existence, but trust me, that’s not going to work. That’s only going to prompt your mother to learn how to use the photo frame software, and then you’re back to square one. And no, I’m not suggesting that your mother won’t be able to figure out how to use the software, but along the lines of like she’d be more than happy to let you take care of it. Now I’ve given you the knowledge, don’t mess this up!
5 out of 5 stars.
